Requirement
- Analyze requirements, design, and develop cloud-based Java Web Applications that meet business needs.
- Work in an agile development environment that is collaborative and encourages new ways of thinking.
- Design and develop external APIs.
- Utilize test frameworks such as junit, guage, Rspec, Shoulda, and cucumber.
- Utilize cloud vendors such as Amazon, MS Azure, Rackspace.
- Build applications that access multi-terabyte big data sources (Hadoop, hbase, hive).
- Minimum educational requirement of a four-year bachelor degree program. Bachelor's degree in Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Applications, Science, Engineering, Computer Science, or the equivalent.
- Must be willing to travel/relocate to anywhere in the US.
What you will do
Your responsibilities will include analyzing business requirements to design and develop scalable Java web applications and external APIs. You'll leverage modern test frameworks and cloud technologies from vendors like Amazon, MS Azure, and Rackspace to build applications that interact with big data sources, such as Hadoop, HBase, and Hive.
